First reactions to the booster packs
The Saga Begins!
Edge Esmeralda kicked off this week, and it's already been quite the adventure!
First things first—the booster packs are out in the wild!
The curve ball 🤬
Just after sending last week's update, my manufacturer suddenly informed me they couldn't randomize the boosters (despite multiple confirmations that they could).
But I was committed to making them. So now, every booster pack is being lovingly handcrafted by yours truly.
It’s given me a chance to sprinkle in special Alpha and Alpha II cards, which adds a scrappy founder charm to the story ;)
And the hard work is paying off. Seeing people react to the cards has been absolutely incredible.
Bonus
Earlier this week, I sketched a gift for a mushroom-loving friend. Returning to my traditional art roots felt peaceful and grounding. Maybe I’ll do some special cards like this…
In closing
I can't wait to do more boosters that can be distributed to those of you around the world!
